Dr. Maz Ghodsian is the only practicing proctologic surgeon in California to have completed a residency in Proctology. He trained in Proctologic Surgery at Ohio University, completed his law degree with a concentration in healthcare law and policy at Pace University School of Law, and his nursing degree at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. He has been published in peer-reviewed journals on subjects ranging from PET/CT imaging in metastatic disease to pruritus ani from primary neuroendocrine tumors.
The practice he built reflects a single conviction: that the things patients are most embarrassed to mention deserve the most attentive care. That means same-day access, honest answers, and treatment plans tailored to the patient sitting across from him — not the chart.
